Each month students will explore their world utilizing different exhibit halls of the Anniston Museum of Natural History. Science will be the primary focus with geography and history added in when applicable. Artifacts, hands-on experiments, and activities will be part of each class with an emphasis on working in groups and recording data.

A La Cart Registration (Individual Classes) Begins August 22, 2021 - $18/Child; AM&G Members receive $3 discount

Fall Semester:

  • September 3, 2021 Fossils
  • October 1, 2021 Geology
  • November 5, 2021 Biodiversity in Alabama
  • December 3, 2021 Turtles and Tortoises


If you did not register for the full school year, spring semester classes will become available for registration in January 2022.

Spring Semester:

  • February 4, 2022 Bears
  • March 4, 2022 Unusual Defenses
  • April 1, 2022 Ducks, Dogs, and Decoys Temporary Exhibit
  • May 6, 2022 Birds, Beaks, Bones, and Feathers
